Happy First Anniversary!

Thought it would be fun to recap all my weddings from 2008. So many different themes, places and ideas for all those brides (and grooms) in the planning stages. Happy first anniversary to all my 2008 couples! Happy planning to all those getting ready for their own special day in 2010.

Garet & Shainy - Yamhill 9.26.09

What a romantic day! You can tell by the way Shainy and Garet look at each other that they adore one another! They had a very intimate ceremony and reception in Yamhill last weekend. This was a true family affair with everyone pitching in some way or another to bring special details and memories to the day. Shainy's dad Tony for instance, made the wedding cake and was actually frosting the cake when I arrived and it turned out beautifully. Shainy also hired a dance instructor to come and teach an English social dance to the guests - a very classy touch that added a very unique element to the day. Garet and Shainy, I really enjoyed photographing your special day - thank you so much for letting me be a part of it! rings

always wanted some close ups of our wedding rings on a flower - decided to play around with a few of my own. Geraniums aren't the best for this, but pretty much the only flower I had to work with - actually like the first one - simple and on their own.

Matt & Holly

Talk about a beautiful wedding - this one was truly exquisite. Holly and Matt planned their wedding to the finest detail which made my job so much fun... until I had to narrow down photos for this post and that had me stumped - but thank you, thank you, thank you! Fun party and lots of fun photos. Here are some of my fav's - especially in the details, so many more I could have shown but alas... I can't blog all night ;-)

Ok - now here is a girl after my own heart - leading (pulling) him onto the dance floor. This is so me and my husband! Cracks me up every time I see it!
