I photographed Joe and Jodi's vow renewal service a couple weekends ago. After the fact they decided it would be fun to do some more shots without all the excitement of the "event". This really is a great idea for couples. Having them alone together with no rush or time constraints allowed us to capture some very tender and light hearted moments.
Sarah is a natural beauty - she makes taking pictures easy. It was a cold day in Oceanside today but she braved the storm! Had I known that we were about to get the most beautiful fiery red sky at sunset only an hour later I would have changed the time we did our shoot. You just don't see those that often and they are so hard to predict, not to mention the fact that they appear and disappear within a very short time frame. It really was beautiful. I would have taken a picture from my house but my camera was busy uploading all the photos I had just taken. Even still we had nice light for some good portraits. Thanks Sarah! Good luck on your SAT's and at OSU in the fall! Go Beavers!!!! 
Ok so it took me more than a day to post a picture with the bay in the background - but took me about all that time to recover from my "all nighter". Guess I forgot I'm not in college anymore! This shows the bay, but it doesn't even show half of the view they have. I'm kicking myself that I never took a picture from further back to show the whole thing - just awesome!
I met with Brenda and her family this weekend for some family photos. When I arrived at their home I was stunned with a 180 degree view of Tillamook Bay - I'm pretty sure there isn't a better view anywhere!!! Anyway, it was fun chasing their little Garrett around and taking photos of the rest of the family. I will post more more pics tomorrow that you can actually see the bay in - right now I'm headed to bed - it is 3:30am. What in the world am I doing up??????
Congratulations! Josh and Jena were married this past Friday at The Broetje House in Milwaukie, OR. What a great venue! - Talk about a photographer's paradise. The gardens surrounding this B&B provided such a variety of options - it was almost hard to decide where to shoot. A romantic setting for a very romantic event.
